Peer Buddy
Journals
As part of
the students' course requirements, they
are expected to complete a daily journal regarding their experiences as a
peer buddy. The following is a sample log entry which is included in the
peer buddy manual.
Completing
Your Log:
In
your daily log you may want to include your feelings, what you did with
your special education partner, behavioral observations of your partner,
what you enjoyed, what you did not enjoy, or any other important or
relevant information.
Sample:
Date:
1/10/97
Activity:
Went to the library
Reflections:
Today, Sarah and I went to the library to check out books. It took us a
while to get there because Sarah kept stopping and talking to people in
the hallway. Sarah seemed to enjoy being in the library looking at the
magazines. She smiled and laughed while we looked through them. I am
starting to feel more comfortable with Sarah and had a fun day today!
